A Lovely Housewife (Part 5)
At these words, the entire classroom burst into uncontrollable giggling. Foster looked at Miss Coco, confused. From what she had seen, St. Perrimore's had an all female staff, so who was Mr. Clark? She noticed that Autumn was looking very flustered. Her face went red, her eyes seemed to glaze over, and she began fussily adjusting her bow tie as she headed toward the door.
Autumn: Absolutely, Miss Coco.... I'll be... back in a second....
Miss Coco: Very good, darling, but mind you don't dawdle on your way back! We mustn't keep the class waiting!
A Lovely Housewife (Part 4)
Autumn the TA stood up abruptly, knocking over her one of her notebooks. She nudged it under her desk with her foot, gave a hasty curtsy to the rest of the class as she smiled sheepishly, then walked to the front of the room as fast as her dress shoes would allow. Two of her friends buried their faces into their hands with suppressed laughter.
Autumn: Yes, Miss Coco?
Miss Coco: Miss Woodgate, would you kindly walk to the Student Services office and fetch me Mr. Clark? Tell him Miss Foster is ready to meet him.
A Lovely Housewife (Part 3)
Miss Coco walked slowly toward Foster, the sound of her heels hitting the hardwood floor echoing slightly.
Miss Coco: Miss Foster, this is my class, and you are my student, and while you are a student at St Perrimore's you will be held to a high standard of poise and professionalism. If I want vulgarities in this classroom, I will utter them myself, do I make myself clear?
Taken aback by Miss Coco's boldness, Foster nodded absentmindedly. Realizing what she was doing, Foster opened her mouth to retort, but the teacher continued.
Miss Coco: Home Economics is more than just "dressing up," Miss Foster. The principles and skills you will learn here will affect and enhance all of your other studies taken at this academy, and indeed, the rest of your life. Here we will study a plethora of topics, including culinary arts, interior design, personal finance, basic first aid, sewing, personal wellness and fitness, and of course home and family s
A Lovely Housewife (Part 1)
The chatter and giggling that filled the Home Ec class at St. Perrimore's Academy for Reformed Young Ladies began to die down as the teacher Miss Coco walked into the room, followed by three students. The first was blonde, bubbly, and confident, her skirts and pigtails bouncing happily back and forth as she walked. The second had dark wavy hair tied back in a bun. She quickly checked her reflection on the window and gleefully straightened the large white bow sewn directly beneath the sailor's collar of her blue dress. She smiled warmly, as if she was then living her fondest dream at long last. The third walked in slowly, her shoulders slouched, a sharp scowl etched across her face. She looked like she would have rather been at any spot on Earth but where she currently stood.
Miss Coco: Good morning, class, and welcome to Home Ec! Before we begin, let's have our new students introduce themselves. Miss Perrimore, would you like to begin?
Catherine: Absolutely, Miss Coco! My name i
A Lovely Housewife (Part 2)
Foster: Just call me Foster, you dumb bimbo! I can't believe I got transferred to this piece of shit school, and fuck you if you think I'm gonna dress up and play princess with these two sluts!
The entire class fell deathly silent, too shocked even to gasp. No one had ever heard such language in class, especially directed at a teacher. Not even Bethany, who had been a rough-and-tumble tomboy only a short time ago, had ever spoken so boorishly. Miss Coco merely stood there coolly, a small scowl etched on her face. She had dealt with this young lady's type before, and she had anticipated such behavior when the Headmistress explained that Foster would be put into her Home Ec class.
Miss Coco: Miss Perrimore, Miss Windsor, please find a seat. Now pay close attention, class; Miss Foster and I are going to show you a practical demonstration of our course's rubric this semester....
